The relocation information : Canada
In Canada, if you are immigrant, study abroad, or have a work visa, you can send
your belongings within a year from the date you received the visa, and there are
some differences in customs procedures depending on the type of visa and location.
Customs Information
It was necessary for immigrants to get visa to get the stamp on custom declaration at the airport before but currently it has been changed as filling the custom document at the local partner office. As a rule, you cannot clear customs for tourist visas or citizens. If you would like to send your belongings on a tourist visa, please contact the person in charge.
TORONTO
All immigrants, foreign students, and visa applicants must attend customs
and sign their autographs in person. After arriving, bring your passport to
our partner's office. People who go to the city more than two hours from
Toronto can check in by proxy clearance.
As proxy clearance needs several documents as well, in this case, please
contact to our partner office.
Canada is subject to duty exemption for work and student visas for used
products only once, so please take necessary products with you.
It is possible for the people with permanent residency need to bring some more
additional used products, as long as they submit a list of items to the customs office.

If the customer has already entered the country after the immigration process and sends the moving goods back,
he must prepare a B7E FORM to explain the situation and make sure not tax the item when returning to Canada.
You can also report any additional moving goods at any time without time constraints.

Shipping schedule
As in any country, Canadian customs may randomly check the containers to see if the actual container matches the paperwork, which could cause delays in customs clearance. Canada is such a large area that the transport dates required in Canada vary from region to region, depending on the shipping schedule or local circumstances.
